Baby Season

I go away to Tokyo and come back to baby season. In the weekend I arrived home, 3 babies, 2 little boys and a sweet sweet girl decided to grace the world. In view of the boy’s privacy (although one has a facebook account already), they’ll be known as the Little Runner and the Little Footballer. The little girl is Keisha Rae Cheng, the latest addition to the Chengs who have their own blog and therefore happy to be part of mine πŸ™‚

From left to right, we start with the Little Footballer, son to my friend at work who looked amazing when we saw her in the hospital. Wonder why I’m surprised? She’s always a picture of calm even in the most stressed work situation πŸ™‚ Looks like this little tyke takes after his Mummy, when his pal in the nursery was kicking away, he was lying calmly in his cot. Even with something like 10 office aunties standing and cooing over him, he was a picture of calmness πŸ™‚

The Little Runner actually is separated from me by one degree, his lovely aunt is my lovely running friend in Jakarta who isn’t in town but I’m sure when she’s back I’ll be updated with cute pictures of the little one. Just like how our other friend, Auntie Mimi updates us on her super adorable niece, Soso πŸ˜‰ For now, the little runners will do πŸ˜‰

Then there’s Kei πŸ™‚ Meimei to the first Baby K and just as cute. She looks more like Mummy while cheche, Kait is definitely from Daddy’s mold. God’s fair that way πŸ™‚ I completely enjoyed the afternoon I spent with the Chengs, cuddling up Raerae (think that’s what I’ll call her for now). I don’t wake up for night feeds so I’m completely in love with all these tiny people. That afternoon, while newborn Raerae was the centre of attention, we just gave the toddlers lollipops and a DVD, kids are simple to please that way πŸ™‚

And over this weekend I also caught up with an old STB friend who had her angel, Amaatra in early June.Β  Her name means limitless, isn’t that such a beautiful name? Babies, babies, babies everywhere πŸ™‚ I like!! Yah, I adore little people even new ones that look all wrinkly and swaddled like a cocoon. I haven’t had a chance to ask Amaatra’s Mummy and Daddy if i can post her pictures online yet, so this will have to do for now:-

You can’t tell me this angel’s toes isn’t the sweetest … … *heart melting* Then there’s still little Jake who popped out of Mummy while I was in Italy. I can’t wait to meet him in person too!!! In the famous line of Jamie Buchman, “My ovaries are aching”
