Caught in a Jam

I think most of us take how pointless our jobs are for granted.  We assume some sense of importance when things go wrong.  When seriously for the most part, if a ball drops in our job, no one actually dies.  Of course, there is the other side of the argument, that we’re all connected, that even a bat of a butterfly’s wing can cause a storm on the other side of the world.

I swing between both school of thoughts, depending on what I have for breakfast 🙂  For me though, I’ve learnt that a crisis is just another chance to learn how to relax so when I was stuck in a car that was in a jam, with some serious freaking out happening.  I fought every urge to try and control the somewhat uncontrollable and enjoyed the setting sun.

Sometimes being stuck in a jam has its own charm. 1 more day and it’s so long LA … I’m thinking this time, it’ll probably be a long while before I’m back here again, especially for work.
