It wasn’t fantastic, especially not after Transformers but I had fun watching it.  Think it was more because of the company than the movie itself 🙂  Like a friend said, it was more of a straight-to-DVD type movie and I couldn’t agree more.  I had hopes for the visual effects but the budget was obviously not high enough so everything looked a little more than fake.  And I’m not completely sold on the casting either.

In my head, I kept thinking Mark Wahlberg would have been perfect for Duke.  I was happy with Sienna Miller though.

I’m not a fan of hers but I say, she does a cartoon character well.  That in a nutshell is what I guess the movie was for me, too much cartoon and I don’t mean that in a good way.  I reckon it would have worked better as an animation … maybe even 2D.  So there’s no need to rush out to watch it.  In my opinion, it’ll make a great plane movie where even if you nod of for a bit, you’ll be able to enjoy it.
