Day 11 of 16

Nothing new for breakfast and lunch.  In the morning, it was brown rice and millet puffs.  In the afternoon, it was bee hoon.  So when dinner time came around, I found inspiration to get adventurous and made my mix veggie curry.  The recipe called for me to blend the curry base but I was too hungry to do that and I actually found that I do like the little bits of spices 🙂  Served with brown rice, it was another yummy success.

  1. Damn it looks good!

Though mine is over, I’ve been told to avoid sugar and a couple of other stuff forever to avoid a relapse. 😦 I don’t know how I’m ever gonna do that! I wonder what your nutritionist will say?

My main bane is still the gastric thing – she didn’t give me any restrictions at all, except to say avoid food that causes you pain/ discomfort – which is a lot!

Let’s go out to celebrate over dinner once yours is done. 🙂

  2. Yes yes, celebrations are so totally in order 🙂 How’s Indian vegetarian sound to you? Maybe naan could be easy on your tummy 🙂

  3. eh… can’t for naan… coz it’s still bread. 😦 Unless they have something else in the menu suitable for me? Sorry I’m so ma fan.

I wouldn’t mind P.S. Dempsey (try new branch mah, nice atmos too) or back to Oomphatico or… if you are in the mood to try some place new…:

-The Whole Earth (that’s Chinese/ Peranakan… just avoid the mock meat stuff) at Geylang Rd. http://www.wholeearth.com.sg/

-The Green Connection at Merchant Square.
