Day 3 of 16

It’s still the same millet puffs for breakfast. I have to be honest and do miss my daily toast but I’m not unhappy YET 🙂 In fact, I’m enjoying it. For lunch, I made up a salad. More rice pasta, celery, spinach and beans that were soaked for a whole day!! Yes, chickpeas and kidney beans 🙂 I wasn’t sure what kind of dressing I could make since vinegar and any form of sweetener was out of the question but I found this recipe online. What did people do before the world wide web?

Vinegar Free Italian Dressing
1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
4 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs water
pinch of salt
½ tsp oregano

Simply throw everything together and whisk quickly. Viola!! A tasty lunch fills you till dinner time 🙂

Dinner was more pasta but this time in soup!! Simple soup stock with my new found favourite vegetable, radish!! The only thing was that I had dash one too many times of cayenne pepper so it was a little too spicy for my husband :p

I can’t wait to try this with soy sauce, I bet it’d be even yummier. No cravings yet but I have a hunch I won’t be singing the same tune tomorrow :p and and and ask my husband, he may say I’m slightly grumpier than usual too :p
