Santa Fe by night …

… along East San Francisco Street. After the welcome reception, I went for a little walk and was enamoured with the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. It’s beautiful by day and even more captivating by night.

It was built in the 1860s and as I stand on its grounds, I couldn’t help but wonder what this little church has seen in it’s lifetime. Other than alien sightings and Georgia O’Keeffe, I’m honestly quite ignorant about New Mexico. So I’m hoping that in the next few days I’ll have some time to find out more about Santa Fe.

Meanwhile, I’m just enjoying the constant inspiration from the numerous art galleries and craft stores.
